The Madrid giants winger Vinicius Jr has said sorry to supporters for his response when substituted in the recent fiery match against Barcelona triumph.
Vinicius was substituted in the 72nd minute and displayed his annoyance by walking immediately off the pitch.
Vinicius subsequently came back to the sidelines and, following his club's 2-1 victory, attempted to approach the opposition's opposing player during unpleasant post-match scenes.
"Now I want to say sorry to all the Madridistas for my reaction when I was replaced in the Clasico," he wrote on his account.
"Just as I have already done during today's practice, I would like to express regret anew to my team-mates, the organization, and the club president.
"At times passion takes over me because I continuously aim to succeed and assist my side. My competitive character originates in the passion I feel for this team and each thing it stands for."
The player joined Real from Flamengo in 2018 for £38.7m and has notched over a century of strikes in more than 300 games.
But his career in the Spanish capital is unclear with speculation in recent months suggesting that Real would think about letting the young star depart if they got a appropriate bid.
When Vinicius was replaced on Sunday, broadcast footage from network the service recorded him saying: "Again me! I'm leaving the team! It's better if I leave, I'm going."
In his latest statement on the platform, he stated: "I promise to keep battling every second for the good of the club, as I have done since the initial arrival."
