Trump's Granddaughter Receives Expert Advice from Golf Legend Woods Ahead of LPGA First Appearance

Young golfer getting ready for significant competition

The rising star has impressive online presence

Kai Trump can count on numerous prominent supporters when she begins her LPGA debut later this week.

This teenage golfer, who is related to a former US president, was granted a tournament invitation to compete at the Annika competition in Florida.

The former president, someone who loves golf, operates multiple international courses and frequently competes against his granddaughter.

"He's fairly competent. I can't reveal details but we have competitive games," she revealed.

She mentioned that her grandfather, who won't be present, told her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"My grandpa basically told me to compete and have fun," she added.

"To me, he's just an ordinary family member. He won't be there this weekend. He's focused on running the country, making him quite busy."

While still amateur, Kai has played in just three tournaments in 2024 and maintains the 461st position in AJGA listings.

Yet she's able to seek guidance from Tiger Woods, romantically involved with Vanessa.

"He stands as the greatest golfer globally," the young golfer said.

"Additionally, he's a superior person. He suggested me to play, enjoy myself, following the flow."

She'll challenge several the biggest names in professional golf at the Annika, including second-ranked Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.

Tournament organizers commented that involving Kai brings golf to wider groups, especially reaching younger fans.

The young star has a massive following and just introduced an exclusive apparel and wellness brand.

Her first tee time at 17:30 GMT.
